EnerSys® Honored with MHEDA Most Valuable Supplier Award for 10th Consecutive Year

READING, PENNSYLVANIA, MAY, 7, 2024 – EnerSys® (NYSE:ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has earned the 2024 Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) Most Valuable Supplier (MVS) award. This marks the tenth consecutive year that EnerSys has received this honor and reinforces the company’s commitment to their dealer network, employees, customers and the community.

“Being honored by MHEDA with this award for over ten years is truly humbling. We deeply appreciate their recognition of our support for the continued growth and health of the material handling industry,” said Mark Walker, Vice President EnerSys Sales, Motive Power Americas. “But we are most appreciative of the trust that MHEDA members place in us every day on behalf of their customers.”

The MHEDA MVS award is a coveted accolade within the industry, with fewer than 10 percent of MHEDA’s member organizations earning this distinction. To qualify for this year’s award, EnerSys demonstrated an overall commitment to business excellence by documenting programs specific to Industry Advocacy, Distributor Advocacy, Business Networking, Continuing Education and Business Best Practices. In addition to maintaining a Documented Safety Program and enrolling in MHEDA’s Learning Management System (LMS), award recipients had to provide documentation of active participation in a community service program.

“The MVS Award is a significant recognition in the materials handling industry, encompassing various facets beyond just business achievements,” said Van Clarkson, 2024 MHEDA Chairman and President of Fairchild Equipment. “Achieving such recognition signifies EnerSys has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, upheld industry standards, contributed positively to its community, and shown dedication to continuous improvement. This acknowledgment not only elevates the company's reputation among its peers but also instills confidence in its customers and community members, showcasing it as a leader in the materials handling world.”
